Appendix 1

Emma McAdie

Having been brought up in Holland Park,W11 and now residing in Stamford Brook W 12, I have walked and used the Scrubs for 50 years plus, as a dog owner, an exercise space, a children's activity space, for children's sport, and much, much more. After a career in teaching, and having run my own food business, I then trained at the English Gardening School as a garden designer and Landscaper, which I continue to do today. I'm married with two teenage boys, and dogs, one of whom 'came' off the Scrubs as a rescue!

Jack Perschke

Jack is a Partner at a large technology consulting firm and lives on the Old Oak Estate with his wife, 3 children and 2 dogs.  He's been on the Scrubs almost every day for the last 5 years - using it to train his competition labrador, give his slightly wild whippet a run and to educate and entertain his children. In previous life stages, he's been an army officer, local councillor and parliamentary candidate so he knows about the power of teamwork and local campaigning.  As a Trustee he would focus on reducing litter, improving all facilities, enhancing biodiversity and ensuring that, while the Scrubs remains "more wild than tamed", it is also accessible for everyone to enjoy and ambitious about its future.
