Sunday 22 May - Activity Day on the Scrubs:

5am start at the Scrubs Lane carpark noticeboard - Bird walk with our resident bird expert, Barbara Crowther. Please bring binoculars. We will have some available if you need.

10.30am meet at at the noticeboard by the main entrance to the Linford Christie Stadium for a butterfly walk led by Malcolm Hull of Big City Butterflies.

12 noon a discussion on meadow management and hedge-laying, starting on the aeroplane field, by the central copse & the ‘hidden’ entrance to the meadow.

Led by the newly installed Ecology & Environment Officer at IDVerde, Kate McVay, who also works with RSPB.

31 July - The First Wormwood Scrubs Dog Show

This will take place in the afternoon and we need VOLUNTEERS to help run it and prepare for it in all kinds of ways.

The Dog Show will be fun but also an opportunity to encourage responsible dog ownership and management.

We have lots of ideas and welcome further suggestions for making the day fun for all. Please contact Ben Novak ben@novak.org.uk SOON if you can help even in a small way. And bring your dogs along!!!
