Walk in Martin Bell's Wood

This walk is to examine and discuss how to recover the biodiversity in “Martin Bell’s Wood”. We are being joined by LBHF officers including Steve Hollingworth, Assistant Director of Parks, Leisure and Culture; Stefan Czeladzinski, Parks Officer; Kate McVay, Ecology Officer for IdVerde. We will be meeting in the Scrubs Lane Carpark adjacent to Martin Bell’s Wood. All Friends are invited to join this.

Since the death of Stuart Wise, one of the Wise brothers who gave many hundreds of hours of their free time to controlling brambles to encourage butterflies in the wood, the brambles are back. LBHF officers are looking into how to recover this situation.
